We had our first snow of the season, and we celebrated by driving to Eugene and back at night. Luckily the pass wasn’t a white out, and we crossed in safety. The darkness of winter is falling fast, but Bend stays nestled in the mountains and winter light. Rain shadow may be my two favorite words.
Eugene was, well, Eugene. The first time no one asked questions during Q&A, and there was no forcing it. But we met with the Cascadia Solidarity Alliance and DGR Cascadia, which was a good boost of energy. They even made a zine on Cascadia this past week.
We’ll be in Portland Saturday at PSU. Be there at 5:30 pm for pizza, for all you gluten tolerant. We’ll be running the new, shortened version of the film, which flows WAY better, and leaves more time for live human dialogue at the end.
And check out this review of the film.
